Custom Commissioned Ship Models


Produced with every minute detail, Bass River Boatworks specializes in custom commissioned ship models and will build exact scale replica of any sailing vessel. Whether a super yacht powered by motor or a fine sailing vessel, we will build the most accurately detailed model based on careful study of your craft.

Our list of customers include maritime museums, private collectors, yachtsmen and ship owners.

The pricing for such models is a matter of workload and plan availability, as well as the size for the requested model. Prices for a specific model can be discussed via email for any inquiry.

We have recently completed a model of a 1930 Dawn Cruiser 48' at 3/4" to a foot. The boat was built from scratch from pictures and measurements taken from the owner's fine yacht. The owner thoroughly enjoyed coming to the shop and working with us to create a replica of the "Belle". The photos below show the development of this fine commission work.
